Job Title: Forecast Analyst

Michael Page Procurement & Supply Chain is seeking a skilled Forecast Analyst to join their team in Derbyshire. As a key member of the Commercial & Supply Chain teams, you will play a vital role in building and managing relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring seamless supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the S&OP Cycle: Prepare for and facilitate Demand Review meetings and updates into Supply Review, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely decision-making.
  • Forecast Generation: Develop and maintain base forecasts on a monthly basis, analyzing key trends and identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with commercial teams, service recovery, and review forecast consumption week by week, ensuring alignment and driving business results.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Compile and review weekly/monthly reporting, interrogating Demand Planning KPIs and providing commentary analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Project Support: Attend project meetings for NPD/EPD and SKU Exits, ensuring forecast alignment and driving project success.
  • Inventory Discussions: Facilitate inventory discussions with various commercial markets across Europe, driving business growth and ensuring supply chain efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience working in a supply chain environment, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, able to use multiple data sources to understand trends and drive business insights.
  • Process Orientation: Process-oriented with the ability to be flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Relationship Building: Excellent relationship-building skills, able to influence different stakeholders and drive business results.
  • Communication Skills: Good presentation skills, particularly being able to be clear and concise.
  • S&OP and/or SAP Experience: S&OP and/or SAP experience desirable but not essential.
