PschiaTreat is a leading provider of mental health services, dedicated to delivering high-quality care to our patients. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Bookkeeper and Payroll Manager.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. This is a key role within our organization, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting ($55,000 - $65,000 per year)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, using QuickBooks and Excel
  • Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports in accordance with GAAP and financial regulations
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support the growth of PsychiaTreat
  • Evaluate and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Coordinate with external accountants for audits and tax preparation to ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and report on cash flow and expenses to inform business decisions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or accountant, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting
  • Proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks and Excel
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions
