We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Parts Counter Specialist to join our team at Rallye Motor Company, Long Island's premier luxury automotive group.
As an Automotive Parts Counter Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with wholesale customers, promoting the sales of genuine parts and accessories, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your role will involve answering questions, assisting clients via phone, and maintaining inventory levels on shelves and in bins.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, a patient personality, and outstanding customer relations ability. A clean and valid NY Driver's License is required, as well as experience in CDK, if possible. You will also need to be able to handle items up to 80 pounds and maintain a professional personal appearance.
This is a long-term position that offers a great benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage for employee and family, company-paid life insurance, and voluntary short-term and long-term disability available. The salary for this position is estimated to be around $70,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
Responsibilities:- Establish ongoing support relationships with wholesale customers by answering questions and assisting them in obtaining needed parts.
- Promote the sales of appropriate parts and accessories by accurately identifying customer needs and promoting the benefits of using genuine parts.
- Assist clients and wholesale accounts via phone, providing quotes, and maintaining inventory levels.
- Maintain inventory levels on shelves and in bins, reporting items needing to be reordered and returning unsold items to stock.
- Clean and valid NY Driver's License.
- Experience in CDK preferred.
- Ability to handle items up to 80 pounds.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and organization skills.
- Outgoing and patient personality with outstanding customer relations ability.
