About the Role

As a Finance Apprentice, you will work closely with our finance team to perform various financial duties, such as preparing and issuing cheques and bank transfer payments, posting payments received daily, and reconciling customer accounts.

You will also be responsible for maintaining the asset register, calculating depreciation charges, recording and reconciling all fixed assets and values, and performing banking and bank account reconciliation.

In addition, you will assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements, provide administrative support to the finance department as needed, and compile and report monthly Intrastat statistics for HM Customs and Excise.
