A Financial Coordinator is sought by BTA to manage financial tasks within a construction environment. The role is based in St. Albans and requires the successful candidate to oversee financial processes within a construction setting.

Key Responsibilities

The Financial Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all Contracts / Orders received for each project and working with the QS to manage new project set up with Payment Terms / Billing details.
  • Setting up and running all new projects on the Eque2 system.
  • Checking/overseeing all purchase orders from the Project Team to ensure they are within budget and correctly allocated.
  • Overseeing the purchase invoice process to ensure smooth running of the checking/paying process and queries.
  • Working with the Project Team to review NCR issues that occur on site which result in extra costs or credits.

Requirements

A successful Financial Coordinator should have:

  • Experience in the Construction Industry.
  • Proficiency in the use of Eque2 Construct.
  • At least basic use of Sage 50 Accounts.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
