Job Title: Children's Home Registered Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team at Polaris Community. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our children's home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education to our young people.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Lead a team of care workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care and education programs, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies.
Requirements:
  • Relevant diploma level 5 or equivalent qualification in childcare or a related field.
  • Experience of managing a team in a childcare setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, young people, and external agencies.
  • Ability to maintain emotional resilience in working with challenging behavior.
