Social Care Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in the Bury St Edmunds area. As a key member of our community hub services, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the highest standard of care and support.
Responsibilities- Support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs to live independently
- Identify and assist with opportunities within the local community
- Provide intimate personal care according to individual needs
- Maintain dignity and respect at all times
- Communicate effectively and sensitively with customers, families, and carers

Requirements- Degree or equivalent in Social Work, Health, or related field (or willingness to work towards)
- Experience working with vulnerable adults (an advantage)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations
We offer a competitive salary of £9.90 per hour (£11.92 for Sundays, £12.37 for Bank Holidays) and a range of benefits, including company pension, casual dress, and flexible scheduling.
