The successful candidate will play a crucial part in planning and organising care, ensuring effective rotas for well-trained care teams. With a focus on minimising travel and maximising care continuity, you will enable care colleagues to spend as much time as possible with those they support.

We are looking for an exceptional individual with demonstrable knowledge, experience, and skills related to:

  1. Coordinating and scheduling care calls, runs, and rotas efficiently, creating consistent schedules that meet customer needs.
  2. Prioritising workload under time pressures, keeping calm, and focusing on tasks at hand, being proactive to prevent concerns and complaints.
  3. Compassionate communication with customers, care colleagues, GPs, District Nurses, Social Workers, and others, using information and data to inform discussions and decision-making.

This role involves coordinating care, ensuring accurate records and information for care calls, colleague availability, absences, location, and travel, and maintaining professional relationships with customers, families, and external partners/services.

As a Care Team Manager at Be Caring, you will have opportunities for career development and progression within the organisation, with access to supported learning and accredited qualifications through apprenticeship programmes. Estimated salary: £27,000 per annum + generous on-call payments.
