Mentorship and Development Specialist

Job Summary:
We are RISE UP, a dynamic charity dedicated to empowering young people aged 16-30 who face barriers to employment. We are seeking a highly skilled Mentorship and Development Specialist to join our team in Manchester.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mentorship and development services to young people, helping them overcome barriers to employment and achieve their career aspirations.
The role involves serving as the first point of contact for young people referred to the charity, conducting assessments to understand their needs and preferences, and matching them with suitable mentors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering Mentorship Services: Provide high-quality mentorship services to young people, covering topics such as CV writing, interview skills, and LinkedIn optimisation.
- Mentorship Matching: Match mentees with suitable mentors based on their needs and preferences.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor mentor-mentee interactions, including check-ins with mentors and tracking mentor tracking forms, to ensure engagement and progress.
- Post-Placement Support: Conduct post-placement check-ins for a 6-month period to ensure sustained progress and offer continued support.
- Collaborative Working: Develop effective joint working practices with our community partners to ensure a holistic approach in service delivery to young people.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
