Job Title: Associate Principal Scientist

Pharmaron is seeking an experienced Associate Principal Scientist to join our Analytical Chemistry team at our Hoddesdon campus. As an Associate Principal Scientist, you will play a key role in developing and validating analytical methods, leading analytical project teams, and implementing new analytical techniques to support projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, troubleshoot, and validate HPLC and other analytical methods.
  • Lead analytical project teams working to tight deadlines.
  • Plan and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
  • Implement new analytical techniques to support projects.
  • Solve multiple complex scientific problems.
  • Work effectively in a GMP laboratory.
  • Present and communicate clearly and effectively with clients.
  • Lead and mentor junior members of staff.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related scientific discipline with several years' experience in an Analytical Chemistry laboratory.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and developing HPLC methods or other separation techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of analytical methodologies.
  • Clear understanding of the drug development process.
  • Ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff.
  • Strong scientific record of accomplishment.
