Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Analytical Scientist with a robust foundation in Analytical Chemistry and extensive experience in HPLC, along with familiarity in GC, SFC, or other analytical techniques essential for the characterization of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). This role involves supporting various chemistry initiatives, developing and validating analytical methods, offering expert insights into the characterization of Starting Materials, Intermediates, and APIs, while collaborating effectively with colleagues in Process Chemistry.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Analytical Chemistry or a related scientific field, or a BSc with substantial relevant experience in an Analytical Chemistry laboratory.
  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting and developing HPLC methodologies.
  • Comprehensive, hands-on knowledge of various analytical techniques.
  • Familiarity with separation techniques such as SFC and/or GC.
  • A strong track record of scientific achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, troubleshoot, and validate HPLC methods.
  • Collaborate within project teams to meet stringent deadlines.
  • Independently plan and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
  • Adapt and learn new techniques to support ongoing projects.
  • Address complex scientific challenges effectively.
  • Operate proficiently in a GMP-compliant laboratory setting.
