About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Baseband Network Architect to join our team at Babcock International Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement networking solutions for baseband projects across the Skynet programme.
  • Provide IP and Serial networking expertise to support incident response teams and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Act as a 4th line technical lead to resolve complex technical issues and provide input into technical steering communities.
  • Develop and maintain high-level and low-level technical documentation and network schematics.
  • Evaluate new technologies and deliver cost-benefit analysis to support business use cases.
Requirements
  • Experience in implementing and supporting common network technologies in enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of Cisco ASR/ISR Routing and valid CCNP Routing & Switching Certification.
  • Experience in design and implementation of cloud, on-premises, and hybrid network topologies.
  • Experience in design and implementation of Cisco Catalyst Core, DNAC, and LAN Access Switching.
  • Experience in production and implementation of High-Level and Low-Level Designs.
  • Experience of JSP and 'Secure by Design' security principles.
Qualifications
  • CCNP Routing & Switching Certification.
  • HNC (Level 4) or equivalent in a STEM subject.
Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
