Maintenance Scheduler Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Scheduler to join our team in Woking. As a Maintenance Scheduler, you will be responsible for answering customer inquiries, scheduling engineers, and promoting the benefits of our maintenance agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer calls and emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Schedule engineers to repair and service equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Resolve customer issues by gathering relevant information and providing solutions
  • Actively promote the advantages of our maintenance agreements to customers, highlighting the benefits of regular maintenance
  • Liaise with engineers to coordinate work schedules and provide administrative support
  • Update customer records with accurate information, including equipment details and maintenance history
  • Prepare and distribute maintenance contract proposals, following up with customers to secure signatures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a call centre or customer service role
  • Experience with scheduling and diary management, preferably in a maintenance or service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
