About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Housing Estimator to join our team at Build Recruitment. This exciting opportunity will involve managing planned works in social housing in Dartford, overseeing commercial management, budgeting, and cost reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage planned works in social housing in Dartford, including overseeing commercial management, budgeting, and cost reporting.
  • Lead and develop a team of junior members, providing guidance and support where needed.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers, ensuring compliance with legislation and contractual terms.
  • Deliver financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualifications, with RICS membership preferred.
  • Proven track record as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in property services or social housing.
  • Strong understanding of planned maintenance and refurbishment projects.
  • Ability to lead and develop a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent contract negotiation and management skills, with a strong understanding of contractual law.
