Credit Controller (6-month contract) x 2

Harper Recruitment Group is working with a leading apparel company to find 2 Credit Controllers to support the credit function for 6 months.

We are looking for individuals with experience in an office environment, good MS Office Excel skills, and great attention to detail. Credit control experience is desirable but not necessary, as training and support will be provided.

The successful candidate will be office-based for 2 weeks of training and then move to hybrid working, with 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Chasing customers for aged debts using templates
  2. Assisting with customer account reconciliation, including reaching out to customers and completing a tracker
  3. Organising a shared mailbox to improve response time
  4. Preparing and sending invoices and statements to customers
  5. Processing SEPA mandates and setting up direct debit in customer master data
  6. Assisting with the daily order releases via strict aged debt analysis and strict approval levels
  7. Customer master data maintenance such as blocking accounts and amending payment terms
  8. Setting up SEPA payment plans in SAP agreed between Controller and customer
