Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Deputy Manager to coordinate the resident assessment process, involving the resident in identifying needs and preferences.
  • Ensure all relevant information is written and communicated effectively to deliver a person-centred approach.
  • Deliver and manage medication administration processes, ensuring robust auditing procedures.
  • Recruit and manage the care team through the Cinnamon process, ensuring efficient management of contracted hours.
  • Regularly communicate with family members regarding resident needs and progress.
  • Manage team member absence and conduct return-to-work sessions.
  • Provide coaching and support to Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants as needed.

Essential Requirements:

  • NVQ 3 essential, NVQ 4 in Care or QCF Level 4 Diploma in Management desirable.
  • Two years' experience in long-term care or a similar industry.
  • Experience of planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care delivery.
  • Experience working with older people.
