We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Clinical Safety Officer to join our team at Public Health Wales. As a key member of our Data, Knowledge and Research Directorate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of our digital health systems.
Main Responsibilities- Implement clinical risk management processes to ensure the safe development, procurement, and implementation of digital health systems.
- Sign off clinical safety management records associated with the maintenance of standards DCB0129 and DCB0160.
- Evaluate and test digital systems to assess their impact on clinical areas and identify potential safety risks.
- Produce safety case reports, risk and hazards logs to facilitate improvement and resolution of clinical safety incidents.
- Collaborate with digital, informatics, cyber security, clinicians, user design, information governance teams, and other specialist areas to design solutions that ensure clinical safety.

Requirements- Current professional registration with a regulatory body within Health or Social Care.
- Post graduate diploma level qualification or equivalent qualification or experience.
- Patient Safety Investigation qualification RCA/SEIPS.
- Evidence of continuing professional and/or personal self-development.
- NHS Digital Clinical Safety Accreditation.
