We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Cleaning Specialist to join our team at Tobermore. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our machinery is cleaned to the highest standards, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform level B cleaning duties, including cleaning concrete and equipment, using a combination of vibration tools, scrapers, and hammers.
- Ensure machines are efficiently cleaned in line with production times, following company procedures and safety requirements.
- Access and egress to confined spaces, such as hoppers and mixers, may be required.
- May involve working at height and the use of safety harness and fall arrest.
- Empty bins using a forklift, ensuring they are emptied at the end of each shift.
- Accurately complete pre-used forklift checks and OBBI checks via Tobermore's tablet system.
- Complete the cleaning procedure and checklist at the start and end of each shift, ensuring they are ready for the production supervisor.
- Perform tasks as required and deemed within your competence by your immediate supervisor.
- Adhere to all company procedures and do not take shortcuts.
- Ensure cleaning and shovelling of weigh houses and tail drums are clear from waste material.
- Actively promote continuous improvement within the workplace.
- Communicate and liaise with the next shift management in a shift changeover information.
- Perform any other duties as required, which are deemed within your competence.
Physical Demands:
- Repetitive manual handling.
- Frequent lifting of equipment throughout the shift.
- Requirement to move safely in confined spaces.
- Safely climb ladders and work at heights.
- Frequent use of hand-arm vibration tools.
- Requirement to wear respiratory personal equipment for 30 minutes at a time.
- Requirement to wear personal protective gear during the cleaning shift.
Requirements:
- No experience necessary, as full training will be provided.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Great communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ambitious and keen to succeed and progress.
- Team player.
- Positive outlook.
- IT literate.
- Very well-organized person.
- Self-motivated.
