Plant Machinery Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plant Machinery Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Tobermore.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our plant machinery, adhering to company procedures and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform level B cleaning duties, including cleaning concrete and machinery, using a combination of vibration tools and manual cleaning methods.
- Ensure machines are efficiently cleaned in line with production times, following company procedures and safety requirements.
- Access and egress to confined spaces, such as hoppers and mixers, may be required.
- May involve working at height and the use of safety harness and fall arrest.
- Emptying bins using a forklift, with full training provided.
- Accurately complete pre-used forklift checks and OBBI checks via Tobermore Tablet.
- Accurately complete the cleaning procedure and checklist at the start and end of shift.
- Carry out tasks as required and deemed within your competence by immediate supervisor.
- Strictly adhere to all company procedures and do not take shortcuts.
- Ensure cleaning and shovelling of weigh houses and tail drums are clear from waste material.
- Actively promote continuous improvement within the workplace.
- Communicate and liaise with the next shift management in a shift changeover information.
Requirements:
- No experience necessary as full training will be provided.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Great communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ambitious and keen to succeed and progress.
- Team player.
- Positive outlook.
- IT literate.
- Very well organised person.
- Self-motivated.
