Plant Machinery Cleaner

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plant Machinery Cleaner to join our team at Tobermore. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring our machinery is cleaned to the highest standards, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain plant machinery, including concrete and equipment, to a high standard.
- Operate vibrating tools, such as air and electric kangos, scrapers, and hammers, to clean machinery.
- Ensure machines are efficiently cleaned in line with production times, following company procedures and safety requirements.
- Access and egress to confined spaces, such as hoppers and mixers, may be required.
- May involve working at height and the use of safety harness and fall arrest.
- Empty bins using a forklift, ensuring they are emptied at the end of shift.
- Accurately complete pre-used forklift checks and OBBI checks via Tobermore Tablet.
- Accurately complete the cleaning procedure and checklist at the start and end of shift, ensuring they are ready for the production supervisor.
- Carry out tasks as required and deemed within your competence by your immediate supervisor.
- Strictly adhere to all company procedures and do not take shortcuts.
- Ensure cleaning and shovelling of weigh houses and tail drums are clear from waste material.
- Actively promote continuous improvement within the workplace.
- Communicate and liaise with the next shift management in a shift changeover information.
- Any other duties as required, which are deemed within your competence.
Requirements:
- No experience necessary, as full training will be provided.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Great communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ambitious and keen to succeed and progress.

- IT literate.
- Very well-organized person.
- Self-motivated.
