About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Support Worker to join our Secure Services Team in Ipswich. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health illnesses in a low secure service setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support to service users, promoting their recovery and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assess and develop individualised care plans.
  • Support service users in achieving their goals and aspirations, promoting independence and community reintegration.
  • Contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment, adhering to strict confidentiality rules and maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in mental health care.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the care sector, preferably in mental health.
  • Hold a Care Certificate and NVQ L2/3 H&SC or Diploma L2/3 in H&SC or apprenticeship L2/3 in H&SC.
  • Be able to travel independently and have a well-motivated attitude with an interest in mental health issues.
