We are seeking a highly skilled Transformation Lead - Learning and Development Specialist to join our Transformation Unit at Alder Hey Children's Hospital Foundation Trust.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in learning and development to support the delivery of high-quality education services across our organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, designing, facilitating, evaluating, and supporting a wide range of Learning and Development activities to enhance staff skills and knowledge.

You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that our Mandatory Training requirements are effectively delivered, and participate in the management and implementation of our CPD Training Needs Analysis.

Additionally, you will provide advice and guidance to staff on training, education, and leadership development, as well as analyse and act on information to proactively manage agreed targets and standards.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Undertake an active role in delivering projects and programmes, including the Futures workstream linked to our Vision 2030 strategy.
  2. Establish, maintain, and monitor early development programmes and opportunities.
  3. Coordinate and design a wide range of Learning and Development activities.
  4. Support managers and staff to engage in lifelong learning through effective Personal Development Reviews (PDRs).
  5. Provide advice and guidance on training, education, and leadership development.
  6. Work with our Learning & Development Manager and Head of Learning & Development to implement and deliver leadership and management development programmes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or equivalent experience.
  • NHS or similar experience.
  • Experience in Learning and Development or Organisational Development.
  • CIPD Level 5 or teaching qualification.
  • Coaching or mentoring experience.

We offer a competitive salary of £29,970 - £36,483 per annum, depending on your experience.
