Museum Collection Manager

The Curator of Asian Art will be responsible for overseeing the Museum's research, interpretation, and presentation of Asian art, including developing a program for the Carol T. Christ Asian Art Gallery.
This position includes dedicated funding for research, travel, acquisitions, and exhibitions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Asian art history and culture, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Museum's collection of Asian art.
- Develop and implement programs for the Carol T. Christ Asian Art Gallery.
- Conduct research and engage in scholarly communications.
- Manage collection development and rationalization.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Asian art history and culture or related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Proven record of scholarly research in Asian art and culture.
- Proficiency in at least one Asian language.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
