About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Operations Director to join our team at Exceptional Care, a leading provider of therapeutic children's services in the Northwest of England.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership throughout the organisation, working closely with senior management and the board of directors to drive growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the organisation's growth plans, collaborating with Registered Managers and the company's RI to enhance and strengthen the functioning of the homes.
  • Monitor quality of performance throughout the service, meeting the expectations of the organisation and Ofsted requirements.
  • Attend Ofsted inspections to ensure Registered Managers are fully supported throughout the process.
  • Develop and implement a process for quality assurance across all provisions to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Provide support to senior management and managers who are in need of assistance for any out of hours issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing a diverse staff team of over 150 employees.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience at RI level, with experience of overseeing 15 homes or more.
  • Proven capability to lead and deliver excellence in a multi-contract, preferably multi-commissioner environment.
  • Demonstrable commercial capability and strong financial awareness.
  • Established, values-driven leader with ability to lead, train and coach employees.
