Operations Manager

Wates Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Living Space Responsive Maintenance team in the West Lancashire area. This role will focus on projects within the social housing sector, requiring a candidate with experience in a similar field.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage contracts and lead a team to deliver works, with a focus on communication at all levels.
- Act as the interface between clients at monthly review meetings and ensure contracts are delivered to an extremely high standard.
- Develop relationships with key clients to ensure contracts run smoothly and meet client expectations.
- Procure work by maintaining and developing contacts in the industry and participating in strategic thinking for tenders.
- Work with supply chain partners to ensure Operating Framework compliance details are in place before project commencement.
- Monitor and approve financial forecasts to ensure best cost planning information is provided.
- Drive compliance and operating excellence throughout the division at all levels.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in an operational leadership position, managing maintenance teams and projects, and being accountable for all disciplines from bidding to handover. We are particularly keen to speak to experienced Ops Managers with a repairs/planned background and experience working with social housing/councils.
