Job Title: Night Site Manager

Challenge TRG Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Night Site Manager to join our team. As a Night Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our blue-chip contracts, ensuring a high-quality consistent service is delivered to meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the contract from recruitment to operational delivery, building effective client relationships.
  2. Meet with the client on a weekly basis to review SLA/KPIs and consistently achieve weekly KPIs.
  3. Monitor, forecast, and report on the financial performance of the site.
  4. Line manage the onsite team, including motivation, target setting, and development.
  5. Oversee the daily implementation of the operational plan and provide regular updates and timely escalation of risk/issues to line manager.
  6. Translate strategic and longer-term objectives of Challenge TRG Group into feasible and understandable solutions for the onsite team.
  7. Build strong client relationships and create a positive client perception of Challenge TRG Group.
  8. Fully understand client requirements and ensure they are fulfilled consistently.
  9. Recruit production staff and other staff locally to meet demands, accountable for the calibre of workers selected.
  10. Co-ordinate with the Operations/Recruitment Team for advertising and marketing needs.
  11. Plan and organise the assessment process for all production staff.
  12. Accountable for overall compliance at sites and ensure plans for contingencies are in place.
  13. Complete costings accurately for workers' pay on a weekly basis.
  14. Effective staff management, including absence, pay queries, performance, retention, etc.
  15. Undertake investigations and conduct disciplinary/grievances as and when required.
  16. Plan and organise the induction process for new starters.
  17. Responsible for accurate accident reporting and any insurance/claim issues that may arise.
  18. Maximise all opportunities onsite and reduce spend wherever possible.
Person Specification:

Qualifications:

  1. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.

Experience and Skills:

  1. Proven experience of contract management ideally in the Food Production environment.
  2. Experience of building effective client relationships at all levels.
  3. Experienced and successful at management and delivering results.
  4. Presentation, selling, and negotiation skills, together with the ability to produce results.
  5. Experience of working with various reporting and forecasting tools.
  6. Strong people management skills and enjoys a challenge and working to targets.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with a variety of stakeholders at all organisational levels.
  8. Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build effective and sustainable relationships.
  9. Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented with a positive outlook, a clear focus on quality and business profit.
  10. Outstanding numerical and budgeting skills.
  11. Uses own initiative and good judgement to make decisions.
  12. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  13. Very good computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  14. Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and encourage good teamwork.
  15. Analytical and methodical in approach to problems.
  16. Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
  17. The ability to effectively handle a busy and varied workload, meet tight deadlines, and prioritise effectively.
