We are seeking an experienced maintenance engineer to join our client\u2019s engineering team in Banbury. The successful candidate will be employed on a shift basis, overseeing preventative maintenance, continual improvement, and reactive maintenance projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reacting to breakdowns and quality issues, using diagnostic skills to identify and rectify problems quickly and effectively.
  • Programming and monitoring the running of plant equipment to maximise through-put in line with agreed quality standards.
  • Undertaking planned maintenance and inputting into manufacturing facilities.
  • Providing engineering and technical services to improve the performance of the plant.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a multi-skilled, onsite maintenance engineering position, ideally within a manufacturing environment or similar. A relevant engineering qualification, ideally in electrical engineering, is also desirable.

Computer literacy is essential, and experience of hydraulics and PLC work is highly valued.
