Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Materials Planner to join our dynamic team at Alexander Steele Recruitment. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and materials management processes.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for managing material forecasts, collaborating with suppliers, and driving customer service excellence through effective planning and data management.
  • With strong analytical skills, you will oversee On-Time In-Full (OTIF) reporting, identifying and addressing reasons for supply chain failures and recommending improvements.
  • You will provide support for various supply chain initiatives and projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions and drive continuous improvement.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • A supply chain qualification or equivalent experience in materials planning is ideal.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment, particularly within materials planning and supply chain management, is essential.
  • Strong communication skills to negotiate with suppliers and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions and drive continuous improvement.

What We Offer:
