We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our primary school team in Hadleigh. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where each child can thrive.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they are fully engaged in learning activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement personalized learning plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting social and emotional development among students.
  • Support students' academic growth by encouraging participation in both academic and extracurricular activities.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to monitor and report on student progress.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • A passion for supporting students with special educational needs in a primary school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude toward helping students succeed.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varied needs of students.
