Job Title: Special Education Support Professional



About the Role:




  • Support deaf students in accessing the curriculum through tailored learning strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers to provide a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist with the development of communication skills, including the use of British Sign Language (BSL) if applicable.
  • Monitor student progress and report on their development to teachers and parents.
  • Foster a positive, supportive relationship with students, encouraging confidence and independence.
  • Work closely with the school's SEN team to develop personalised learning plans for students.
