About the RoleThe School of Apprenticeships at ARU is an exciting development, demonstrating our commitment to becoming sector-leading in the delivery of excellent apprenticeships. We are seeking experienced skills coaches to join our team to support and develop apprentices through their Degree Apprenticeship journey, helping them gain the knowledge, skills, and behaviours to succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with apprentices, employers, and internal key contacts to develop our student-focused service.
- Conduct regular reviews with students and their employers to measure progress and agree the way forward.
- Provide one-to-one study skills support and progression, and experience facing challenges and solving problems for a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for highly customer-focused individuals with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and experience of teaching in groups or tutoring and monitoring progress in other education settings. Educated to degree level or with relevant professional training and development experience within one of the Degree Apprenticeship fields would be highly relevant preparation for success in this role.
