Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Controls Auditor to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our risk management department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our practices, records, and controls meet regulatory standards.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct regular quality audits, analyze historical data, and develop quality improvement initiatives. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to implement best practices and drive performance improvements.

Key qualifications include experience in a regulated environment, preferably within the legal sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Conducting monthly quality audits to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  2. Performing thorough risk assessments and internal control evaluations, reporting any discrepancies.
  3. Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives based on historical data analysis.


The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. BCL Legal is an equal opportunities employer.
