Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Director to join our Sales Team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing and growing tech vendor clients, hitting the ground running, and achieving revenue targets. The successful candidate will have a strong new business background in media sales and/or media agency experience.
Main Responsibilities- Manage and grow relationships with tech vendor clients, with a focus on client satisfaction and long-term retention
- Craft and execute sales strategies for growth and develop account plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Produce tailored, integrated proposals that include multiple product lines and solutions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through effective account management and new business development.
- Provide data-driven insights into client territory using tools such as Salesforce and LinkedIn.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Provide regular status reports and updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop proposals to win new business.
- Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to clients.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.
We value candidates with:
- 5 to 10 years of media sales experience, with mandatory experience in media agencies.
- Proven track record selling to tech companies.
- Experience and confidence in selling intent-based and lead-generation solutions.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex business environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A self-starter who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
