Job Title: Senior Operations Manager

Job Summary:
Astute People is partnering with a leading power company to recruit a Senior Operations Manager for its biomass power station near Scunthorpe. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plant, ensuring compliance with strict HSE rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Day-to-day leadership of the shift operations team
* Providing technical supervision and assistance where necessary
* Ensuring the plant is operating within its parameters
* Providing effective training and monitoring of shift staff

Requirements:

* NVQ level 3 or HNC minimum qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
* Formal Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH
