Job Title: Beauty Therapist

About the Role:
As a key member of our team at Lost Shore Surf Resort, you will provide exceptional VOYA massages and relaxing treatments to our resort visitors. Your expertise and dedication will help our visitors experience ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation, contributing to an unforgettable stay at our resort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out a range of Spa treatments to an extremely high standard including massage, facials, hand and feet treatments. (VOYA training will be provided)
  • Acting as a role model for other therapists
  • Optimising client interaction to upsell treatments and retail
  • Assisting with managing the day when required
  • Achieving retail targets consistently
  • Cultivating a community of clients who eagerly return for rejuvenating experiences
  • Ensuring work environments are spotless, clean and organised
  • Carrying out any other reasonable tasks requested by Resort Director to aid the smooth running of the Wellness space

Requirements:
  • Qualified to SVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy or equivalent
  • Previous Spa Experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating effective communication with clients and team members
  • Confident in using a computer booking system
  • Experience in diary management and scheduling
  • Innate passion to develop and grow as a therapist
  • To enjoy working in a team
  • Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction
  • Confident and self-motivated to work solo on occasions

Additional Information:
As a Beauty Therapist, you'll need to be flexible with your schedule. Our resort operates seven days a week, and early morning, late evening and weekend work will be required. Your commitment to ensuring the resort's smooth operation during peak times is essential.
