About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our qualified staff in providing a caring and effective service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist qualified staff in delivering patient care and supporting the delivery of a caring and effective service.
  • Recognise your abilities and limitations and only carry out tasks for which you are trained.
  • Support other staff members and act in the best interest of patients.
  • Treat everyone with respect and uphold the values and beliefs of the Trust and the Skills for Health Code of Conduct.
Requirements
  • Educated to GCSE grade C or equivalent in key skills level 2 or functional skills level 2 numeracy and literacy.
  • Care Certificate.
  • Experience of working in an acute care environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic IT skills.
