About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth running of our vascular clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and prepare clinic areas, including setting up equipment and maintaining stock levels.
  • Assist doctors and other team members with investigations and procedures, including chaperoning patients.
  • Support patients with dressing and undressing for examination, and observe them during and after tests/treatment.
  • Recognize clinical emergencies and summon appropriate assistance.
  • Carry out observations such as pulse, blood pressure, respiration rate, weight, height, and blood glucose, and report any abnormalities to qualified staff.

Requirements
  • GCSE pass in Maths and English Language or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a multi-disciplinary environment.
