Main Job Responsibilities

As a Care Worker for Retain Healthcare, your primary goal is to provide high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes.

Key Duties:
  • Liaise with Social Workers, District Nurses, and other agency professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Communicate changes in customer requirements effectively.
  • Work within company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Assist customers with personal needs, such as dressing, washing, meal preparation, and accessing their community, as outlined in the Care Plan.
  • Perform light housework, such as dusting, sweeping/vacuuming, and polishing furniture, as needed.
  • Encourage customers to take ownership of their personal care and tasks, recognizing their abilities may change daily.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must be:

  • A kind, approachable, and caring individual with a passion for delivering quality care.
  • In possession of a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Available to work between 7am-2pm or 4pm-10pm.
