Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Coordinating healthcare services for prisoners, including developing care plans and collaborating with other healthcare professionals

• Working closely with prison staff to develop strategies that promote health and prevent disease among offenders

• Contributing to the development and implementation of healthcare policies and procedures

• Providing administrative support to the healthcare team

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a registered nursing qualification and a minimum of two years' experience in a similar position. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience is desirable, as is experience of working within secure settings. However, we encourage applications from candidates who meet the essential criteria and are passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare services to offenders.

Salary and Benefits:

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust offers a competitive salary of £51,474 per annum, plus benefits such as annual leave, pension scheme, and access to training and development opportunities.
