Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Operations Specialist to join our AWS Data Centre Engineering team. As an Electrical Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centres by maintaining and repairing electrical, mechanical, and emergency generator equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including filter changes, HVAC PMs, and rack installations
  • Collaborate with Data Centre Operations technicians to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Develop and implement plans to reduce energy consumption and costs
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in data centre engineering
  • Formal electrical engineering certification NVQ Level 3 or higher
  • Experience with BMS and EPMS control systems and data collection/trending
Compensation:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, Amazon provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
