Job Title: Personal Development Worker

Location: Lanark

Job Type: Full-time, 21 hours a week

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Personal Development Worker to support Maddie in living her good life. As a Personal Development Worker, you will play a vital role in helping Maddie achieve her goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Maddie in her daily life, including accompanying her to drama workshops and social events
  • Assist Maddie in developing her skills and interests, such as providing massages and participating in pamper sessions
  • Help Maddie to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle, including encouraging her to engage in physical activities
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to Maddie, helping her to build confidence and independence

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
