About the Department

The Hewitt Fertility Centre is based within Liverpool Women's Hospital, providing a comprehensive range of fertility treatments and services. As a Specialist Paediatric Sonographer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients, working closely with the clinical team to integrate diagnostic ultrasound into our fertility service.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual who can bring their expertise and passion for paediatric sonography to our team. The successful candidate will have significant relevant clinical experience, preferably in a clinical lead role, and be able to demonstrate expertise in gynaecological and obstetric ultrasound.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work as a clinical and technical expert within Diagnostic ultrasound, integrating with the clinical team to deliver an effective fertility service.
  • To maintain and service scan machines/probes within the department.
  • To provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members.

Our hospital offers a competitive salary of £53,755 - £60,504 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
