About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced ultrasound specialist to join our dynamic team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for performing clinical ultrasound duties and issuing diagnostic reports according to protocol.
About Us:
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a large, busy university teaching trust with a major trauma unit and multiple specialist medical areas. Our ultrasound department undertakes a comprehensive range of examinations, including abdominal, gynaecological, vascular, MSK, and small parts. We pride ourselves on being a keen training centre for new sonographers, with a mentorship framework in place to support their transition into advanced practice.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a generous benefits package. As a university teaching hospital, we also offer opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performance of clinical ultrasound duties as delegated by the Ultrasound Manager
- Issuing of diagnostic ultrasound reports according to protocol
Requirements:
- Proven experience in ultrasound imaging
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication skills
