Key Responsibilities:

\u2022 Liaise with professionals from various areas of the Children\u2019s Trust, including the MASH team, to identify unknown children referrals and assess their needs.

\u2022 Complete MASH checks to determine whether the subject is known to the department and if the case is current.

\u2022 Receive and record telephone referrals on new cases.

\u2022 Prepare professional files for other Local Authority Social Workers and professionals to view.

\u2022 Direct and signpost members of the public, providing advice and information on local services.

Requirements:

\u2022 Screening Officers must have a high standard of written and spoken English to communicate effectively with the public, professionals, and legal departments.

\u2022 Availability to work immediately or at short notice is essential.

\u2022 The right to work in the UK is required.

\u2022 An enhanced DBS is necessary for this role.
