We are now seeking a skilled ASYE/Supervising Social Worker to join our team. This role involves supporting foster parents and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for all children and young people in foster care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Foster Parents: Collaborate with foster parents to provide a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children and young people.
  • Monitoring Competence: Regularly assess the suitability and competence of foster parents to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Providing Supervision: Offer regular supervision to allocated foster parents, adhering to our Operational Standards.
  • Partnership Working: Work closely with the child's network, including other professionals, to identify needs within the foster family and contribute to relevant meetings.
  • Document Compliance: Ensure foster families maintain accurate records and adhere to key documentation requirements.
  • Meetings and Reports: Attend scheduled meetings and prepare reports for Commissioning Teams regarding individual packages of care.

To succeed in this role, you must possess a Social Work qualification, be registered with Social Work England or equivalent, and demonstrate a high standard of report writing. Additionally, you should have a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.

This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary range of £28,938 - £36,420 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a company car or £2,000 car allowance, 30 days' annual leave (rising to 35 days with length of service), plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata), life assurance, company pension, on-site free parking, employee discount scheme, and medical cash plan.
