We are seeking an ambitious Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our client, a leading manufacturer based in Bedford. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of modern equipment and implementing continuous improvement strategies.

This is an exciting opportunity to start your career as a Maintenance Engineer with full on-the-job training provided. You will have the chance to develop your skills and work closely with experienced Engineers to drive improvements across the manufacturing site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks on specialist manufacturing machinery. With days-based working hours, this role offers a great work-life balance and opportunities for overtime and progression.

**About the Role:**

**Requirements:**

  • Electrician or mechanical qualification desirable
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
