Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Deputy Nurse Manager to join our team at Willing Care. As a key member of our care home leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and resident-centered care.
  • Develop and implement care plans and treatment protocols tailored to the needs of our residents, in partnership with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct regular assessments of resident care and outcomes, ensuring individual needs are met and care plans are updated accordingly.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating nursing staff, ensuring a skilled and dedicated team.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards related to care provision, maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff.
Requirements
  • RGN (Registered General Nurse) or RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) qualification, with an active UK NMC pin.
  • Demonstrated experience in a deputy nurse manager role within a care home setting.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in mental health nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for resident and staff interactions.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions in a fast-paced care home environment.
  • Understanding of and commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion in healthcare within a care home context.
