About the Role

Pinsent Masons is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Document Services Specialist to provide exceptional support to our practice groups across the firm. As a key member of our Document Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our document management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive and professional support for all practice groups, including audio/digital dictation typing, copy typing, and document formatting.
  • Utilize advanced layout and creative skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and PDF conversion software to format and layout business-as-usual and business development documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Brand and Comms team and the in-house creative agency to ensure the Pinsent Masons' visual identity standards are upheld.
  • Work closely with colleagues to fulfill the needs of the business, demonstrating reliability, flexibility, and a 'can do' attitude.

Requirements

  • Advanced document skills, including accurate typing, spelling, grammar, and proofreading, with the ability to write clear business correspondence.
  • Advanced Word skills, such as styles, cross-referencing, tracked changes, and table of contents.
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, including embedding files, animations, and transitions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and conditional formatting.
  • Experience with document management systems, such as FileSite/Worksite/DMS.
  • Good knowledge of Outlook and Visio.
  • Knowledge of print/production processes and brand/visual identity best practice.
