Assembly Fitter - Full Time Opportunity

Sulzer Pumps UK in Leeds is a leading manufacturer of pumping solutions for various industries. We are seeking an experienced Assembly Fitter to join our Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble a diverse range of pumps within the Sulzer family
  • Manage the dynamic balancing of components and rotors to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct component detailing for correct hydraulic behaviors on the test bed and in the field
  • Skilfully handle skid packaging and alignments of pumps, motors, and gearboxes
  • Work with high specification engineering drawings to meet quality standards
Requirements:
  • Completed apprenticeship in mechanical or plant engineering
  • Relevant experience with rotating equipment in a related industry
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Enthusiastic approach with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
