Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer and take on a challenging role in the automotive industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing product launches and supplier coordination to meet cost and timing targets.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing product launches and supplier coordination to meet cost and timing targets
  • Developing and implementing timing plans, PFMEAs, and control documents
  • Sourcing, commissioning, and overseeing new manufacturing equipment installations
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and supporting quality resolutions
  • Driving cost-saving initiatives and supporting Continuous Improvement (CI)
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 automotive suppliers
  • Familiarity with headliner manufacturing and assembly
  • Proven track record in roles within just-in-time environments
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma / Lean manufacturing processes
  • IT literacy, particularly with MS Project
  • CAD experience is advantageous
